Abstract Submission Guide
Paper Submission Platform: The abstract should be prepared according to the guidelines provided below and uploaded to the CMT portal for NCRD2025, along with the extended abstract and the author declaration form. Please visit https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/NCRD2025/ to submit your research paper.
Required Documents
For every paper submission, you must submit three essential documents through the CMT platform:
- Author Declaration Form (Compulsory)
- Abstract (350 words max, single B5 page)
- Extended Abstract (3-5 pages, Compulsory)
Critical Requirements
- No author details in initial abstract submission
- Extended abstract is compulsory
- Abstracts without extended abstract will be rejected
- All authors must sign declaration form
- Plagiarism will result in rejection

General Guidelines
Presentation Mode
Authors are allowed to submit their work for Oral Presentation which will be held in physical mode under 7 thematic areas.
Anonymous Submission
Authors should upload abstracts to the CMT system leaving out the names of authors and their affiliations for the purpose of reviewing. Author details must be added separately to the CMT submission page.
Important Submission Rules
- Abstracts bearing author details will be rejected
- Research work presented or published elsewhere will not be considered
- Abstracts will be rejected without further consideration if plagiarism is detected
- Authors should verify their abstracts against plagiarism using a free online plagiarism checker before submission
- Authors should leave sufficient space in the abstract to add author details after acceptance

Abstract Format
- Language: English only
- Format: MS Word (.docx/.doc)
- Page Size: Single B5 page
- Word Limit: Maximum 350 words
- Margins: 1 inch (all sides)
- Line Spacing: Single
Typography
- Title: Times New Roman, 12pt, Bold, Center-aligned
- Body: Times New Roman, 10pt, Justified
- Keywords: 4-6 keywords in alphabetical order
- Spelling: British style
- Technical Terms: In italics
- No: Abbreviations, Figures, Tables, Page numbers
Extended Abstract (Compulsory)
- Must be prepared according to the given format
- Upload in PDF format for review
- Maximum 5 pages including references
- 1500-2000 words recommended
- Harvard referencing style
- Times New Roman 12pt font
Abstract Content Guidelines
The abstract should state the problem, explain the approach to obtaining the solution, and describe the solution itself. It should also summarize key facts relating to the work done, the principal conclusions, and convey the overall impact of the work presented.
Critical Notice: Abstracts submitted without an extended abstract will not be considered for review. This is a mandatory requirement for all submissions.
After Acceptance & Publication
Camera-Ready Submission
Once the abstract is accepted, please use the Camera-Ready Template for the final submission of the abstract (not the extended abstract).
- Submit in MS Word (.docx or .doc) format
- Include registration fee payment slip
- Add author details (names and affiliations)
- Proceedings team requires MS Word documents for corrections
Publication Opportunity
As recommended by the reviewers, authors will get an opportunity to publish their extended abstracts in the Special edition on Rural Development of Journal of Management and Tourism Research. The organizing committee will contact corresponding authors separately.
